We Want the Same Things

There I was, walking around the typical tourist spots thinking to myself, "this is getting pretty tedious," when a side alley caught my attention. I'm not entirely sure why. There was nothing special about this little lane; it just seemed a standard nondescript thoroughfare you would find in any city. I ventured in anyway as the hordes of people walked up and down the beaten streets from tourist trap to tourist trap, like so so many had done before. On I went, under the tunnel and was greeted by a sign: "Welcome to our gardens." Going through the gate I had realised I had discovered a hidden piece of restfulness mere yards from the crowds. I sat for a while and drank in the peace and I left, appreciative.
